How do I care for my Playborn doll?
If cared for properly, your Playborn will bring you many years of joy. Always handle your Playborn as you would a real baby. Cradle him or her carefully and support the head. The doll should never be carried by the arms or legs. The head and limbs can be carefully turned for posing but should never be forced. When handling your Playborn, always make sure you have clean dry hands.
Your Playborn should be kept away from extreme hot and cold. Extreme heat can cause the vinyl to become warped and even melt. Keep your Playborn out of direct sunlight. Extreme cold could cause the vinyl to become brittle. Avoid moisture and never immerse your Playborn in water. To remove dust simply wipe him or her down with a dry cloth.
Your Playborn may come with a magnetic dummy/pacifier. These magnets are very powerful earth magnets. They should not be used near any electrical or computer equipment and they should never be used near someone who has a pacemaker as they can interfere with the device. These magnets should not be used by young children. If swallowed they can be extremely dangerous.
Your Playborn is weighted with fine, round glass beads or poly pellets. These can pose a danger to children if swallowed or inhaled. For this reason, a Playborn should only be handled by a child under strict adult supervision. If a limb or the head does become unattached from the body, please contact us for instructions.
What is your Return Policy?
To ensure that you are entirely happy with your purchase, we encourage you to look carefully at the product description, details and images before purchasing. You are purchasing the exact doll in the photos and each one is put together by hand. All sales are final and a product may not be returned due to a ‘change of mind.’
Damages and issues
We encourage you to inspect your doll upon receiving it to ensure everything is perfect. If you are not 100% happy with your purchase due to a mistake on our part, then please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We can then discuss how to help resolve the issue or refund the purchase.
If we agree to process a return, the item will need to be returned to us in the same condition in which it was sent, unused and in its original packaging. Once we receive the item we will check it and contact you regarding the status of your refund. If your return is approved for a refund we will refund you via your original method of payment. Return shipping is your responsibility, however if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund.
Do you take custom orders or pre-orders?
No. At this time we do not offer any custom orders or pre-orders for upcoming dolls. All dolls are first-come, first served every week. Thank you for understanding :)
